Thank you for purchasing a hat from my company. Whether it was an official Dugan Hat Co hat or an upcycled hat, I’m happy to help should something to awry along the way. When you purchase a hat through my shop, your purchase includes:

Hat Care

Lint Removal: Tear of a sheet of a lint roller and using your hand, massage the lint sheet over the lint to remove residue. DO NOT use the roller itself as the roller might leave indents in the fur.

Fur Recovery: If your hat seems to be dulling in color, it might just need a fluffing of the fur felt. Using a hat brush, gently brush counter-clock wise along the hat brim and crown.

Grease/Finger Print Removal: Generally, you should be able to wipe away finger prints and light grease stains with a hat sponge. Gently massage the fur in a circular motion with the sponge. If the stains are hard grained, you might need a felt hat cleaner spray to help dissolve the grease. Please be sure to purchase either light or dark cleaners as it DOES matter which one you use pending the color of your hat.
